Objective

To effectively handle overall Registration, Billing and queries for the patients & to create a patient centric team atmosphere.
 

Principal Accountabilities :

Principal  Accountabilities
(A) Operational
1. Efficient delivery of Procedures 
• Appointment , admission and discharge of  patient
• Billing invoice generation
• Maintenance of daily scroll
• Cash/Credit/Corporate billing and discount information to customers.
2. Registration
• Ensure timely and accurate registration procedures.
• Ensure information of all policies and guidelines to patients / attendants with other queries if any.
3. Cashiering
• Shift handling including cash, credit, corporate and TPA billing and refunds if any during the shift and submission of daily account with details to finance.
• Responsible for Opening and Closing of shifts.
4.  Reports 
• Co ordination with other departments for the purpose of diagnostics and other reports to reach concerned area in time.
5. Customer Interaction 
• Achieving high Levels of customer satisfaction during interaction.
• Ensure effective resolving of customer issues with follow up if required.
6.  Effective utilization of Hospital Information system and other software provided for tasks assigned periodically.
• To have strong product knowledge of systems and procedures enabling to address the related issues and tasks assigned from time to time.
7. Inter departmental coordination 
• Able to practice effective inter departmental co ordination for the purpose of timely achievement of the given tasks and responsibilities.
8. Familiarization with Induction Manuals and Operating procedures 
• To go through the induction manuals of the department and also know the amendments from time to time.
• Take and active part in the departmental as well as cross-departmental training form time to time with approvals.
• Ensure all trainings are attended mandatory for the departmental functioning.
