Objective

To provide direct or indirect accurate medial attention to all cases referred to imaging department.

Principal Accountabilities :

Principal  Accountabilities

(A) Operational

• Ensure full compliance with PNDT & AERB regulations.
• Conduct & generate reports on results of tests / procedures viz. X-ray, Ultrasound, CT scan, MRI etc.
• Keep abreast with latest research, development techniques in the fields of Imaging.
• Ensure that the labs have facilities necessary for rendering patient care.
• Supervise all nursing / Para medical and non medical staff of the department to maintain discipline and high standard of medical care at the department as per standard operating procedure.
• Co-ordinate with Head of Department on all matters relating to:
 Provision of Infrastructure and maintenance support
 Selection of type and nature of medical consumables and equipment to be procured.
• Assists the Head of Department for:
 Special material management requirement.
 Ensure quality of performance of the department
 Ensure optimum utilization of resources by the him/her and subordinates
 Complaint redressal of patients.
 Ensure safety ;
- CT/MR/Fluoroscopy safety as per SOP
- Fall risk assessment of patients referred from out side Artemis
- Supervise injectables and manage adverse reaction

Performance Parameters

• High level of reporting accuracy, seeks second opinion from seniors to ensure the same.
• High level of trust by all physicians and patients for the department.
• Proactive in managing all regular and emergency situations.
 

Education

M.D. (Radiology) or DMRD + DNB (Radiology). Must be registered with State/Medical Council of India

Experience

0-3yrs post MD/DNB.
1yrs post DMRD experience in a Super/Multi Specialty hospital is desirable.

Knowledge

•    Quick Thinking, Fast Moving, and have wide spectrum of knowledge.
•    Strong communication skills.
•    Conceptual and Analytical skills.
•    Computer literacy and hands on PC.
